An online store with 1C sync for a chain of 7 stores in Astana

An online store for a chain of 7 healthy food stores in Astana. We built the platform from scratch: online ordering, a customer account with bonuses, 1C synchronization and a custom admin panel.

01

Challenge

Before the launch, the website was just a catalog and played almost no part in sales. Orders came through Instagram Direct and WhatsApp, and customers had to ask managers about prices and availability.

Data from the old system was updated once a day, so prices and stock on the website often didn't match reality.

The goal was a modern online store where customers find products on their own, see real-time availability, place orders and manage their account.

02

Solution

We built the platform from scratch — from the interface and user flows to the backend infrastructure and integrations.

The catalog syncs with 1C automatically every two hours, so prices and stock stay up to date without manual work.

Customers follow a clear path: sign-up, phone number verification, cart, checkout and personal account. A confirmed order goes straight to a manager in WhatsApp, and accumulated bonuses are visible in the account.

03

Admin panel

Alongside the storefront we built an admin panel where the Ecoshop team manages products and categories, orders, users, content and SEO, and tracks statistics.

Most day-to-day operations now happen in a single system.

04

Content and media

To handle a large volume of product photos, we wrote our own image processing service. It keeps the originals, automatically generates optimized WebP and AVIF versions for each display scenario, and caches the results.

The existing catalog was moved over with an automatic migration script, sparing the team from transferring content by hand.

05

Performance

Through image optimization, caching and a well-designed frontend architecture, the average page load time dropped from about 2 seconds to 0.7 seconds — even with a large number of products and media files.

06

Security

Forms and sign-up are protected by a multi-layer system that filters out bots and suspicious requests before any sensitive operation runs:

  • Google reCAPTCHA
  • IP-based request limits and rate limiting
  • honeypot checks
  • form fill-time analysis
  • risk scoring before sending emails

Result

Ecoshop got more than a new website — it got a full online sales channel connected to the company's internal processes.

Customers find products on their own, see current prices and stock, place orders and manage their accounts. The business manages products, orders, users, content and SEO from one system.

In the first 15 days after launch, with no advertising, about 37 users signed up and placed 15 online orders.
