A delivery price without a phone call

There was no way to check a delivery price on the website — customers had to call. That slowed their decisions and loaded the managers. The goal: customers pick a route and instantly see the real door-to-door price across Kazakhstan.

Solution

A calculator right inside Tilda

The website ran on Tilda, so we built the CDEK API integration into the existing platform — no migration to another system.

We wrote the calculator code ourselves. It pulls data straight from the CDEK API and computes the door-to-door price for the chosen route. Customers see the actual price, not an estimate.

To keep the API key out of the browser, we built an intermediate server. Every request to CDEK goes through it, and the key lives only on the server.

This protects the integration from key leaks and abuse — even on a site built with a website builder.
